Don't you hate it when you show up to a party and somebody's wearing the same dress as you?!
Reed and the baby who was camped next to us (Vanport) were wearing the exact same onesie on Saturday night! Turns out, we even got them at the same Cheese show last summer! Small world, or maybe just a small band...
Fortunately, the boys made up later on, by reenacting some of the light saber duels from Star Wars, with their glow sticks.
And speaking of glow sticks... This is not a great picture, but it's a fun story. It's a bit of a Saturday night tradition to throw around lots of glow sticks on Saturday night. It makes for a cool effect to see all the glow stick flying through the air, but when you've got a baby sleeping on your chest, your priority is to keep that baby sleeping. So when we found ourselves at the epicenter for the initial launch of thousands of glow sticks, Gerry and I tried to shield Reed's head from getting pelted. But Gerry, being the quick thinking Daddy he is, remembered that we had brought the umbrella because it looked like rain earlier in the evening. He quickly opened it, and here, Reed and I are sheltered from the glow stick deluge.
